On the afternoon of July 12, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House coordinated with the Khai Minh Duc Education System to organize the closing ceremony of the 2026 Summer Camp with the theme "Raising Dreams".
The summer camp takes place in 2 days, July 11 and 12, with the participation of more than 350 children of union members and workers in Nghe An province. Nearly 150 teachers and volunteers from many provinces and cities directly guide, care for and organize activities for the children.
During the summer camp, children are guided on self-care skills, caring for those around them, preparing meals, communicating, behaving and collective activities.

In addition, they also learn about their duty as children, gratitude, self-reliance and sense of responsibility to family and community.
Campers listened to lectures on the meaning of 5 things Uncle Ho taught teenagers and children; learned commands; participated in folk dances, talent contests, swimming contests and learned drowning prevention skills.

On the morning of July 12, the children moved to Ho Chi Minh Square, offered incense, reported achievements to Uncle Ho and performed folk dances together. The activity contributed to helping the children understand more about tradition, cultivate discipline, solidarity and responsibility to the community.
One of the activities that left many emotions at the program was writing letters of gratitude to parents.

Through the letters read at the program, the children expressed their love and gratitude for the merits of parents' birth and upbringing. Many children sent thanks for always being cared for, accompanied by, and given the best things to themselves by their parents.
The children also shared their desire to be diligent, study well, cultivate self-reliance, know how to care and share more with family members.

The sincere confidences of the children created an emotional atmosphere in the hall, helping them better understand the value of family affection and their responsibility to their parents.
According to the organizers, after 2 days of studying, experiencing and training, many children have had positive changes. From the bewilderment on the first day, the campers gradually became confident, proactive in communicating, knowing how to listen, cooperate and support each other when performing collective tasks.
Activities at the summer camp also help children form a habit of living on time, arranging personal belongings themselves, complying with regulations and boldly showing their abilities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thu - Director of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House - said that the "Raising Dreams" Summer Camp not only brings useful summer days but is also a journey to help children discover themselves, practice life skills, promote solidarity, love and responsibility to family and community.
Today's summer camp is closed, but the journey to conquer the dreams of the children has just begun. Hopefully, the lessons, experiences and beautiful memories in recent days will become motivation for them to continue to study hard, live kindly, confidently, bravely and constantly nurture good aspirations" - Mr. Nguyen Duc Thu shared.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Thu, the success of the program is due to the coordination between the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House and the Khai Minh Duc Education System; the direction of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation and the support of Information Brigade 80, Thanh Vinh Ward Police, commune and ward trade unions, businesses and related units.
The teaching staff and volunteers have devoted a lot of enthusiasm and responsibility to guide, care for and ensure safety for the children throughout the program.
The "Raising Dreams" summer camp is an activity that shows the concern of the Trade Union organization for children of union members and workers; and at the same time contributes to creating a safe and healthy environment for children to play, practice and develop comprehensively during the summer.
