Not only a mid-shift meal, the Trade Union Meal at Viet Thuan Garment Co., Ltd. (Thanh Nam ward, Ninh Binh province) is also an activity showing the concern of businesses and trade union organizations for workers, contributing to improving the quality of meals, creating motivation for workers to feel secure in sticking with the business.
On July 24, Viet Thuan Garment Co., Ltd. organized the Trade Union Meal program for 2,100 workers and laborers. Accordingly, each meal is worth 50,000 VND, of which the company's shift meal is 25,000 VND, the company supports an additional 19,000 VND and the grassroots Trade Union supports 6,000 VND. Thanks to that, workers enjoy a nutritious meal with many rich dishes, and the quality has been clearly improved.
Working at Viet Thuan Garment Co., Ltd. since 2019, Ms. Tran Thi Tam said that in recent years, the enterprise has always paid attention to improving working conditions as well as the quality of lunch meals for workers. The Trade Union Meal program alone brought her and her colleagues many emotions because the concern is shown by specific actions.
After many hours of work, a delicious and nutritious meal not only helps us workers eat well, have enough nutrients, and is good for health, but also creates a joyful atmosphere and bonds between colleagues during breaks," Ms. Tam said.
Also at the program, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation presented 10 gifts, worth 1 million VND/gift, to 10 workers in difficult circumstances working at the company.
