On February 28, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to announce the decisions of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee on the arrangement of organization, apparatus and personnel work.
Mr. Tran Van Dong - Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor - informed that according to the project to streamline the apparatus agreed and approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to dissolve 3 industry unions and establish the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union and the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union.
Accordingly, from March 1, the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Trade Union under the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor was established. This is a trade union at the level directly above the grassroots level, managing 77 grassroots trade unions (CDCS), with 5,620 union members.
The Provincial People's Committee Trade Union has legal status, its own seal and account, and is equipped with facilities and working means according to regulations; organized and operated according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, with its working headquarters at 186 Thong Nhat, Phan Rang City - Thap Cham.
Ms. Dinh Thi Son Thai - Chairwoman of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union - was transferred to work at the Provincial People's Committee's Union; appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee's Union for the 2023 - 2028 term, from March 1.
The Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the establishment of the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union, as legal entities, seals, and separate accounts, equipped with facilities and working means according to regulations; organized and operated according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The provincial Party Trade Union is a trade union at the grassroots level, managing 19 grassroots trade unions, with 477 union members. Mr. Ngo Minh Hai - Specialist of the Provincial Federation of Labor Office - was transferred and appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union.
The Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the decision to dissolve the Provincial Civil Servants' Union and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions in the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee.
Transferring 71 grassroots trade unions, with 3,370 union members of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, to the Trade Union of the Provincial Party Agencies and the Trade Union of the Provincial People's Committee for direct management and direction.
Dissolve the Provincial Health Trade Union and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions in the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Health Trade Union, term VII, 2023 - 2028. At the same time, 14 grassroots unions, with 1,955 union members of the Health Sector Trade Union, were transferred to Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Labor Federation and the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for direct management and direction.
Dissolve the Provincial Education and Training Trade Union and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions in the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Education and Training Trade Union. Transfer 26 grassroots trade unions, with 1,534 union members of the provincial Education and Training Trade Union, to be under the management and direction of the district and city labor federations and the provincial People's Committee Trade Union.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor also presented the decision to retire early according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government to Ms. Nguyen Thuy Doan (born in 1970) - Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Health Sector Trade Union and Mr. Phan Chanh Thao (born in 1965) - Chairman of the Provincial Education and Training Sector Trade Union.
