The working group of Lam Thao District Labor Federation (LDLF) led by Chairman of the District Labor Federation Tran Tien Dung has just organized a working group to mobilize the establishment of non-state grassroots unions in Tu Xa commune. Accompanying him were representatives of the grassroots trade union (CDCS) of Tu Xa commune.
The working group visited 2 enterprises including: Thanh Dang Garment Company Limited (zone 6) and Tu Xa Agricultural and Rural Development Company Limited (zone 4, Tu Xa commune). Both enterprises operate in the garment sector, in which Thanh Dang Garment Company Limited produces ready-made textiles; Tu Xa HT Company Limited produces garments and processes garment products according to the design. Currently, both units have a workforce of 40 to 50 people, of which nearly 40 people are directly and regularly employed.
At the units, leaders of the District Labor Federation worked and discussed contents related to developing union members and establishing grassroots unions with representatives of the company's leaders. The leaders of the District Labor Federation shared that developing union members and establishing grassroots unions is an important task to gather a large number of workers into the Trade Union to care for and protect their legitimate rights and interests.
When units and enterprises establish trade unions, grassroots trade unions will be a bridge to effectively connect and share unit information with relevant levels and sectors, contributing to supporting the removal of difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, promoting production and business development...
Agreeing with the policy of establishing a grassroots trade union at the unit, the representatives of the companies have informed with the delegation about the propaganda, mobilization, meeting of workers, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the working team on the policy of developing union members and establishing the grassroots trade union of the superior trade union.
The unit is collecting applications to join the trade union organization of workers, and at the same time agreed to submit a dossier to request Lam Thao District Labor Federation to issue a Decision on admitting union members and establishing grassroots trade unions during the Workers' Month 2025.
