On December 15, information from the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor (FLD) said that in 2024, it actively performed its function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, while continuously improving social welfare for these subjects.
Over the past year, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented the Action Program for the period 2023-2028, aiming to improve the quality of representation and care for workers' lives. Unions at all levels have mobilized union members to actively participate in giving opinions on important draft laws such as the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law, and the Employment Law (amended).
In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor had 95.34% of establishments organize conferences for civil servants and employees; 73.9% of enterprises conduct periodic dialogues; 80.24% of enterprises sign collective labor agreements.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor promoted the "Union Meal" program with the participation of 21 enterprises, bringing practical benefits to more than 4,500 union members. The Provincial Federation of Labor provided funding to organize "Union Meals" for 7 affiliated units with a total support amount of more than 138 million VND.
In the field of labor safety, the Labor Federation coordinated inter-sectoral inspections and audits at 13 enterprises and directed trade unions at all levels to maintain self-inspection and assessment of labor safety and hygiene at 156 enterprises. The total amount of money spent to visit and support cases of labor accidents reached more than 196 million VND.
In addition, the legal advisory team at all levels of the union has answered and supported more than 3,500 workers on related policies and regimes, contributing to effectively resolving complaints and denunciations.
