Incentives for union members and workers
On January 14, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD) said that, implementing the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program in online form, in the past time, the unit has proactively coordinated and guided trade union levels to implement synchronously, helping union members and workers soon access the Tet care policies of the Trade Union organization.
Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" is an activity implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor nationwide, aimed at union members with outstanding achievements in trade union activities and union members in difficult circumstances with low incomes.
Each union member is supported with 500,000 VND through electronic shopping vouchers (e-vouchers). In Quang Tri alone, 3,000 union members are allocated support, showing large scale and practical concern for workers' lives.
The application of the e-voucher form helps union members shop online on an official platform, conveniently, transparently, proactively time and diversely choose essential goods to serve Tet. This form is especially suitable for workers working in shifts, limiting crowded gatherings like traditional Tet market models.
To make the program effective, the Provincial Labor Federation has assigned 70 grassroots trade union officials to directly support union members in the process of registering, receiving e-voucher codes, placing orders and handling arising situations. Many grassroots trade unions also set up support groups, promptly guiding from product selection, information entry, order confirmation to checking successful order status.
At many businesses, the program created an exciting atmosphere from the early days of implementation. Union members highly appreciate the convenience, ease of operation, rich goods, suitable for needs and working conditions. In particular, the close companionship of trade union officials is considered an important factor to help workers feel secure and not be surprised when shopping online.
Thousands of successful orders
According to statistics, to date, more than 2,150 orders have been successfully placed by union members in Quang Tri through the online "Trade Union Tet Market" platform. This result shows the positive response of union members, and also affirms the effectiveness of the application of digital transformation in the Tet care work of the Trade Union organization.
Taking advantage of lunch break, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy - a worker at Tong Power Quang Tri Co., Ltd. said that thanks to a support voucher of 500,000 VND, she can choose to buy essential items for her family during Tet. “This year participating in the program is very convenient, being guided step by step by trade union officials, so ordering is faster and much easier. When receiving a successful order notification, the feeling of Tet is closer” - Ms. Thuy shared.
Not only providing practical support for union members, the program also contributes to promoting the consumption of quality Vietnamese goods, in line with the spirit of the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign. Through connecting union members with the domestic goods system on a unified platform, the trade union has contributed to expanding the distribution channel of Vietnamese products, building a safe and sustainable consumption habit.
From the initiative of union members to the implementation close to the grassroots level of the Trade Union organization, the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" in Quang Tri has created a positive effect, helping workers feel secure in welcoming Tet, adding motivation to stick with businesses and trust in the caring role of the Trade Union organization.
