On March 28, the Labor Federation (LDF) of Quang Tri province said that it had directed trade union levels to strengthen propaganda and mobilize workers to join the Vietnam Trade Union. At the same time, coordinate with businesses to establish grassroots trade unions.
In the first quarter of 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation mobilized the establishment of 13 grassroots trade unions, and admitted 1,005 trade union members. This contributed to protecting workers' rights and building harmonious and stable labor relations.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation is completing operating regulations, assigning tasks to the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee. At the same time, building a full-term activity program, inspection and supervision program.
Trade union levels continue to guide the organization of the 2026 Employee Conference. Promote dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on salaries, bonuses and working conditions.
In the coming time, trade union levels will continue to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions, especially in non-state-owned enterprises. At the same time, improve the quality of grassroots trade union officials.
