On July 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Trade Union of Quang Ninh Regional General Hospital has coordinated with professional departments to organize a campaign to provide periodic free health check-ups for people in Ninh Chau, Quang Ninh and Truong Son communes.
Activities in response to the emulation movement to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), and at the same time perform the task of caring for, protecting and improving people's health.
To implement the program, Quang Ninh Regional General Hospital has established 3 specialized working groups, simultaneously conducting health check-ups at commune health stations. With a team of experienced doctors and medical staff and a mobile medical equipment system, the teams conduct general check-ups, screening for chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease..., and at the same time advise and guide people on health care.
The program not only contributes to improving the quality of primary health care but also aims to manage the health of the entire population, gradually building electronic health records for each citizen.
All health check-up data is recorded, classified and standardized, creating a basis for hospitals to coordinate with grassroots health care to build an interconnected electronic health record system, helping to continuously monitor health, detect diseases early and manage disease models in the locality.
Close coordination between Quang Ninh Regional General Hospital and local authorities along with the positive response of the people has contributed to the success of the program.
Through activities, the team of officials, union members, public employees, and employees of the hospital continues to promote the spirit of responsibility, wholeheartedly serving the People, spreading the beautiful image of the Trade Union organization and the health sector, contributing to the effective implementation of the goal of universal health care in the period 2026 - 2030.
