Amidst the historic July days, when the whole country is looking towards War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, gratitude activities continue to be extended by practical, sharing and meaningful actions.
At Da Nang City Traditional Medicine Hospital, from July 15 to 17, the hospital coordinated with the Hoa Vang Commune Veterans Association (Da Nang City) to organize medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for 200 veterans and former soldiers in the area to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).
The program aims to provide health care, early detection of diseases and support treatment for veteran members and former soldiers in difficult circumstances in the area.
According to the plan, 200 members will have clinical examinations, perform paraclinical tests, screen for geriatric and internal medicine diseases; be consulted on treatment and disease prevention using traditional medicine combined with modern medicine.
In addition, veterans and former soldiers are also treated without medication with methods such as acupuncture, infrared, thread embedding, pressure massage, fire rescue and are provided with free medicine.
The activity takes place in 3 phases, from July 15 to 17, each day from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Da Nang City Traditional Medicine Hospital.

This is not only a free medical examination and medicine distribution activity but also shows the concern and sharing of the medical team for veterans and former soldiers in the area.
Through the program, we want to help the elderly get a comprehensive health check-up, early detection of common diseases in the elderly to have timely treatment directions. At the same time, the hospital also advises on nutrition, exercise and health care using traditional medicine combined with modern medicine, contributing to improving the quality of life for the elderly.
