On May 23, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Trade Union of Cam Lo Rubber Processing Plant, under the grassroots Trade Union of Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company, has coordinated with the factory's leaders to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program for union members and workers at the unit.
The program is organized in a warm and joyful atmosphere with meals worth 50,000 VND/meal, ensuring full nutrition and many rich dishes. The activity contributes to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers during Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
At the program, representatives of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation presented 2 gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses, to encourage union members to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Also on this occasion, the grassroots Trade Union of Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances who do not have housing.
The total cost of housing construction support is 80 million VND, of which the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation supports 50 million VND, and the grassroots Trade Union supports 30 million VND.
The Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that activities to care for union members and workers during Workers' Month continue to be concerned and implemented by trade union levels in many practical forms, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing, companionship and responsibility of trade union organizations towards union members and workers.
