Soc Trang - Members of the Automobile Union of Dai Ngai town, Long Phu district have just received Great Solidarity housing.

On December 11, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor (SLF) organized the handover of the Great Solidarity House to union member Lu Hua Can of the Dai Ngai Town Automobile Union, Long Phu District.

Union member Lu Hua Can works as a motorbike taxi driver, earning about 8 million VND/month. His wife is unemployed and mainly does housework. The older child is in the military, the younger child is in school, so all expenses depend on Mr. Can's income. The family is in a difficult situation with housing, the house is dilapidated and there are no conditions to repair or rebuild.

With support of 50 million VND from the Provincial Fund for the Poor from the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Can's family contributed a little more to build a more spacious and neat house before the New Year.

At the house handover ceremony, Mr. Le Van Phai - Vice Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation - congratulated the family of union member Lu Hua Can on having a new house, hoping that this would be a motivation for family members to strive and overcome difficulties.
