On January 21, at Thai Binh Province Urban Construction and Environment Joint Stock Company, Thai Binh Province Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party", giving gifts to union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province - attended the program and presented Tet gifts to encourage environmental sanitation workers. Also attending were leaders of the Office of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, leaders of the City Party Committee - People's Committee of Thai Binh city.
At the program, the representative of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor briefly reported on the results of caring for union members and workers during the Lunar New Year 2025.
Accordingly, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the direct superior unions at the grassroots level have developed a plan and organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" at more than 250 locations, including 50 locations in 8 districts and cities, 5 industry unions and 6 locations chaired by the Provincial Federation of Labor.
The enterprise's grassroots trade union also organized and registered to organize the "Tet Sum Vay" program right at the enterprise; giving away 99,381 Tet gifts to workers with a total amount of nearly 51 billion VND.
Of which, representatives of the Party and State leaders presented 850 gifts with a total amount of VND955 million; the Provincial Labor Federation and grassroots trade unions presented 9,247 gifts with a total amount of VND7.4 billion from the trade union's financial resources and VND880 million from the province's support; the rest was drawn from the financial resources of the grassroots trade union and supporting enterprises.
The online "Trade Union Tet Market" program in 2025 is being implemented nationwide to support union members and workers in purchasing goods and products with guaranteed quality and reasonable prices. 3,580 union members and workers have received financial support from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor through the program's vouchers with a total support budget of 1.79 billion VND...
At the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province and leaders of the Party Committee - People's Committee of Thai Binh city presented 100 Tet gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of the province with the amount of 100 million VND; 50 Tet gifts from the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of the city with the amount of 35 million VND to workers and employees of Thai Binh Environment and Urban Construction Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province - acknowledged and praised the spirit of hard work regardless of day and night, holidays of the cadres, employees, and workers of Thai Binh Environment and Urban Construction Joint Stock Company; at the same time, praised and highly appreciated the role of trade union organizations at all levels in the province in directing and organizing activities to take care of Tet for union members and workers through the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang", contributing together with the Party Committee, government and local authorities to ensure social security in the province during the Lunar New Year 2025.
