On January 16, at Thai Binh branch of Sports Goods Production Joint Stock Company - Tan De Company (Nguyen Duc Canh Industrial Park, Thai Binh City), the Trade Union of Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Parks organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" 2025.
At the program, the organizers presented 1,339 gifts to union members and workers of Tan De Company with a total amount of nearly 1.1 billion VND.
Mr. Le Tuan Thien - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan De Company - said: During the 2 days of January 16-17, the company's grassroots trade union will give Tet gifts to over 15,000 workers in all factories in the province with a total amount of over 27 billion VND, and at the same time advise the leaders to transfer the 13th month salary bonus to workers with an amount of over 10 billion VND. All gifts from the company will be carefully tied by the company's employees on each worker's motorbike. This has also been an annual activity of Tan De Company for many years, aiming to take better care of its workers.
On the same day, at Tien Phong Thai Binh Company Limited (Hong An commune, Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province), Hung Ha district Trade Union also organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" 2025, giving gifts to union members and workers.
2024 is a year with many difficulties for businesses and workers, therefore, Hung Ha District Trade Union has deployed an official dispatch to guide grassroots trade unions to review and count union members, workers in difficult circumstances, union members who unfortunately have serious illnesses, union members' children, workers with disabilities, and those infected with DIOXIN to have a plan to support and encourage.
According to a survey and statistics from the Trade Union, by the end of 2024, Hung Ha district had 972 union members and workers in difficult circumstances belonging to 95 Trade Unions, of which 109 were children of union members and workers suffering from serious illnesses, disabilities, or Agent Orange.
Ms. Dang Thi Kim Cuc - Chairwoman of Hung Ha District Trade Union - said: "In order to care for, share and encourage the difficulties of union members on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the District Trade Union organized the awarding of 972 "Tet Sum Vay" gifts to union members and workers at grassroots trade unions, each gift worth 800,000 VND (of which the Provincial Labor Federation supported 822 gifts with a total amount of over 657 million VND); organized the giving of 150 gifts from Party and State leaders to workers at Plummy Garment Company Limited, Hung Ha Garment Enterprise, Hung Ha Veston Enterprise with a total amount of 195 million VND; allocated 306 shopping vouchers for workers participating in the "Union Tet Market" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with a total amount of 153 million VND".
In addition, the District Trade Union also directed the grassroots trade unions to coordinate with the government, professional colleagues, business directors, and employers to organize care for union members and workers.
Many businesses organize meaningful activities such as organizing banh chung and banh day wrapping contests to preserve and promote traditional values of the nation; lucky draw programs, spring performances, organizing union meals and year-end meals for workers.
At the program, leaders of Thai Binh Provincial Labor Federation, District Party Committee, and District Trade Union presented 300 gifts to workers at 27 Trade Unions with a total amount of 240 million VND.
