In 2024, the District Trade Union closely followed the district's political tasks, actively carried out patriotic emulation movements, and synchronously implemented tasks and care activities of the trade union organization.
During the 2024 Tet holiday, the District Trade Union presented 326 gifts worth 163 million VND; most businesses gave 13th month salary bonuses to employees, an average of 3.5 million/person; at the same time, the "Trade Union Tet Market" program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor was implemented for 250 union members, each person received a free shopping card worth 300,000 VND.
The district trade union organized to support 567 union members according to Decision No. 6696/QD-TLD dated January 16, 2023 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on implementing policies to support union members and employees whose working hours have been reduced or whose labor contracts have been terminated, with an amount of 567 million VND (equivalent to each union member and employee receiving support of 1 million VND/person) from the budget of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor; enterprises have presented 5,469 gifts, with a total amount of nearly 1.4 billion VND to employees...
During the Workers' Month 2024, the District Trade Union organized to reward 95 outstanding workers in emulation movements with an amount of over 51 million VND; presented 15 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances with an amount of 15 million VND from the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; awarded funding to support 1 union member to build a house from the "Union Shelter" fund with an amount of 50 million VND; coordinated to resolve loans from the National Fund for 8 union members' families with an amount of 458 million VND.
During the year, the District Trade Union established 2 new grassroots trade unions, admitted 793 new union members; commended and rewarded 95 outstanding and typical grassroots trade union chairmen for the period 2018-2023 and 2024...
The work of caring for female union members and workers has always been of interest and direction to all levels of the union. On the occasion of the new school year opening, the district union presented gifts to 142 excellent students and children of union members who overcame difficulties to study well, totaling 71 million VND.
