On July 18, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that Thang Binh Commune Trade Union coordinated with Van Loi Import-Export Co., Ltd. Trade Union to organize the "Trade Union Meal" Program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
The program attracted nearly 900 workers and laborers working at Van Loi Import-Export Co., Ltd. to participate. Each meal was supported with 65,000 VND, ensuring nutrition, contributing to improving the quality of lunch meals, and at the same time strengthening the connection between union members and laborers with the Trade Union organization.
On this occasion, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation presented funds from the program "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 29 union members and workers of Thang Binh Commune Trade Union and Van Loi Import-Export Co., Ltd. Trade Union who are in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses or long-term illnesses. The total support fund is 58 million VND, equivalent to 2 million VND/person.
The support award shows the concern of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Trade Union organizations at all levels for union members and workers, contributing to encouraging workers to overcome difficulties, feel secure in their work and stick with businesses.
The "Trade Union Meal" program and the handover of support to union members are practical activities towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing, while affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
