On September 12, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FLD) coordinated with the Tien Giang Provincial Traffic Safety Committee to organize the contest "Workers and civil servants with traffic culture in 2024".
This year's contest has 28 teams, with 84 contestants participating in 3 parts: General knowledge test, Situation handling and Word guessing.
After a day of competition, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the grassroots union alliance of Thu Khoa Huan Primary School, Thanh Tri Primary School and Trung An Secondary School, the second prize to the grassroots union team of Phuoc Trung commune (Go Cong Dong district) and the third prize to the grassroots union team of Tien Giang University.
Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Permanent Vice President of Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the contest is not only a useful cultural playground, helping workers and civil servants meet, exchange, and share experiences in work, labor, and production, but also helps raise awareness, compliance, and the ability to handle situations of union members and workers when participating in traffic. Thereby, contributing to building a safe traffic culture and effectively implementing the goal of reducing traffic accidents and preventing traffic congestion in Tien Giang province.
