On August 8, the Provincial Trade Union of Tiền Giang coordinated with the Management Board of Royal Foods Vietnam Joint Stock Company to organize the “Trade Union Meal” for 450 trade union members and workers at the above enterprise. This is a practical activity to care for the material and spiritual life, improve the health of workers.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Trade Union of Tiền Giang Ngô Thị Thùy Trang stated that the “Trade Union Meal” program was organized for all trade union members and workers working at the company, with a value of up to 80,000 VND per meal. Among them, the Provincial Trade Union of Tiền Giang supported 50,000 VND per meal, the remaining value is the value of each meal negotiated by the trade union at the grassroots level with the labor user to implement for workers every day.
According to Ms. Trang, the Trade Union Meal is a practical activity, affirming the responsibility of the Provincial Trade Union of Tiền Giang in the work of caring for and caring better for trade union members and workers from meals, specific daily needs. The higher purpose is to allow trade union members and workers to enjoy meals during working hours in a warm, united atmosphere, to chat with each other, reduce stress after working hours, and also show the attention of the labor user to the workers.
According to the Provincial Trade Union of Tiền Giang, in the near future, the levels of the Trade Union will continue to coordinate with enterprises to organize meaningful activities, coordinate with trade unions at the grassroots level to continue implementing the Trade Union Meal to strengthen the care for the quality of meals, ensure health, and help workers at companies and enterprises to work with peace of mind.
