100 gifts will be given to children of workers in difficult circumstances during Workers' Month

The launching ceremony was organized by the Hanoi People's Committee in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City on the morning of April 23.

The launching ceremony also had the presence of nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers of the Capital High Command, City Police, typical officers, workers, and laborers of Hanoi Medical College, Hanoi Power Corporation, representing over 2.5 million workers, civil servants, and laborers of the Capital. This is the core force, the central subject, directly spreading and realizing the goals of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month in 2026.

At the ceremony, Mr. Truong Viet Dung - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee - launched the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Hanoi City Workers' Month 2026.

Accordingly, with the theme of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Hanoi City Workers' Month 2026 being: "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health work in the digital age" and "Vietnamese workers innovate and master technology, improve labor productivity", the city identifies a consistent orientation, taking workers as the center, digital transformation as a tool, proactive prevention as a core solution and substantive effectiveness as a measure in organizing implementation.

On behalf of the leaders of the City People's Committee, Mr. Truong Viet Dung called on all levels, sectors, the business community and all workers of the Capital to actively respond to the Action Month 2026 with the most specific, practical and effective actions. We are determined to reduce labor accidents and occupational diseases, build a safe and civilized working environment, and develop a modern, creative and technologically mastered Capital worker team - Mr. Dung said.

On the occasion of the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026, the city presented 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, who suffered labor accidents, each worth 1,300,000 VND; 100 gifts for children of workers in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1,300,000 VND.

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee also organized free health check-ups and consultations for over 200 workers and organized a free legal consultation area for union members and workers.
