Accordingly, this year, the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month are implemented with the theme: "Innovating management and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health work in the digital age"; "Vietnamese workers innovate and create, master technology, improve labor productivity". In that spirit, Dong Da ward identifies taking workers as the center, digital transformation as a tool, proactive prevention as a core solution and substantive effectiveness as a measure.
According to the ward leaders, the activities are not just a movement, but must become a peak period to create substantive changes in the awareness and actions of the entire political system, businesses and workers. Therefore, agencies, units, and businesses in the area need to continue to improve their responsibility, proactively review risks, improve working conditions, and prevent unfortunate accidents from happening; and at the same time link the task of ensuring labor safety with digital transformation, improving management and supervision efficiency.
For the Trade Union organization, it is necessary to continue to promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; promote emulation movements "Good labor, creative labor", encourage union members to innovate and improve productivity and quality of work.
Along with that, units pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of workers, promptly support difficult cases, and create motivation for workers, civil servants, and laborers to feel secure in sticking together and contributing to the overall development of the locality.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the "One Idea per Day" Contest with initiatives focusing on environmental protection, improving working conditions, building "bright - green - clean - beautiful" living and working spaces. The ideas were evaluated as highly applicable, contributing to spreading the spirit of creativity among union members and workers.
Dong Da Ward Trade Union also presented gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances, workers who suffered from work accidents and occupational diseases.
