Attending the groundbreaking ceremony to support the construction of the Trade Union Warm House for Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc - a union member in particularly difficult circumstances in the commune were Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune and representatives of Ngoc Than village - where Ms. Bich Ngoc's family is living.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc is a trade union member of the grassroots Trade Union of Sunhouse Household Appliance Production Co., Ltd. She has been working for 19 years. Her family has 2 spouses and 2 children. From 2021 to now, Ms. Ngoc has had ovarian cancer, and has undergone chemotherapy many times. Every month, Ms. Ngoc goes for check-ups and periodic check-ups, and also has to take medicine every day. Ms. Ngoc's husband is a freelancer, so his income is unstable.
Her family is living in a house that has seriously deteriorated with a long-standing corrugated iron roof that is rusty and leaking in many places; walls built of lime mortar, peeling in many places, waterlogged; the floor is subsided, lower than the roadway, so it is often flooded when it rains. Every time it rains, Ms. Ngoc's whole family has to live in it...
Faced with the difficult circumstances of union members, the Company's Trade Union and the Commune Trade Union proposed to the City Labor Federation to support 50 million VND to build a Trade Union Warm House.
The organization of the groundbreaking ceremony to support the construction of the Trade Union Warm House has brought joy to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc. This is also an activity to respond to Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 and celebrate the success of the 11th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2026 – 2031.
