Due to the impact of storms and rains, the water level of the Red River has risen for some days, causing flooding in many residential areas along the river, posing a risk of insecurity. In this situation, local authorities have mobilized forces to participate in flood and storm prevention and control; organized the evacuation of people, property, livestock, etc. to safe areas.
At each destination, the leaders of the district Labor Federation visited and encouraged union members who were on duty at key dike points and at the flood and storm prevention command center; and cadres who worked to propagate and mobilize people to implement measures to prevent and control floods and overcome consequences after storms.
The Hanoi Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union visited and encouraged union members and workers at units in the industry to participate in on-call duty to serve production and overcome the effects of storm No. 3.
