On May 31, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union said that within the framework of the visit and working session of the Japan Chemical and Energy Industry Federation (JAF), the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union and JAF jointly organized the Workshop "Sharing experiences in trade union activities".
The workshop was held to exchange experiences in trade union activities in the context of integration and digital transformation, share organizational models, operating mechanisms, union member development programs, social security, welfare and labor safety.
This is also an opportunity for the two sides to strengthen cooperation, while affirming their common commitment to promoting long-term and effective cooperation between the two industry trade union organizations in the field of industry and energy.
In the era of energy transition, digital transformation and reshaping the labor market, expanding dialogue, enhancing understanding, and together finding solutions for adaptation and sustainable development is the key for trade unions to affirm their role, position, and responsibility in protecting workers' rights, accompanying businesses and society.
Through this event, Chairman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union Nghiem Thuy Lan also hopes to expand the connection between the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) and Japanese partners in the fields of energy, chemicals, oil and gas, etc.
