Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Pham Thi Lan Anh - Director of the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Security said that in 2025, the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (ATVSLĐ), Workers' Month has been implemented synchronously with many practical activities, with profound socio-political significance in the people's police (CAND).
The communication work of the Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health is effectively organized by unit police, local police and trade union organizations, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of Party committees and leaders of police at all levels, all officers and soldiers (CBCS), trade union members, and workers in the People's Public Security Forces towards occupational safety and health and the Workers' Month activities.
Accordingly, 100% of unit police, localities and trade union levels in the People's Public Security Forces have implemented a number of key activities in the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, Workers' Month such as: Workers' Thanks Day, Culture and Sports Week, commending good workers, free health care for workers; visiting and giving gifts to officers, soldiers, and workers who were injured, injured in labor accidents, in difficult circumstances; implementing welfare programs such as awarding Trade Union Shelters...
Effectively implementing emulation commitments on implementing Workers' Month, occupational safety and health in 2025; working headquarters and workshops serving production are guaranteed in terms of working conditions, environmental sanitation, and labor safety; officers, soldiers, workers, and laborers in the People's Public Security Forces are concerned about policies, health care, working equipment, and personal protection; the working, labor, and production environment is maintained "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health, and fire and explosion prevention".
Under the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, headquarters of ministries, provincial police, commune police, and production factories in the People's Public Security Forces; cultural and sports facilities are invested in repairing and building new ones to ensure working conditions and convenient work for officers, soldiers, and workers in the People's Public Security Forces... Accelerating the construction of social housing projects in the People's Public Security Forces to create motivation for officers, soldiers, and workers to enthusiastically emulate and successfully complete assigned tasks.
Speaking to direct at the Launching Ceremony, Major General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security requested Party committees at all levels, commanders of agencies, units, enterprises, trade union organizations, cadres, soldiers, and workers to do better in caring for, paying attention to the development and protection of the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of cadres, soldiers, and workers.
Major General Dang Hong Duc proposed to focus on a number of contents such as raising awareness about the importance of occupational safety and health, identifying this as a key factor to ensure the health and life of workers during work. At the same time, each individual, especially the team of officers and soldiers, needs to improve their sense of responsibility in building, implementing and supervising regulations related to occupational safety and health.
The work of ensuring welfare regimes for workers needs to be focused on by all levels and sectors, especially for the police force due to the specific nature of the work, many pressures and risks. Fully implementing policies on life and legitimate rights is a key factor creating motivation for officers and soldiers to feel secure in their work and improve the efficiency of task completion.
In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to training and improving the qualifications of workers. In the context of an increasingly developed society, especially the emergence and strong impact of artificial intelligence, the requirements for human resource quality are increasing. Therefore, workers need to be equipped with new knowledge and skills, and proactively adapt to changes in the labor market," Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc emphasized.
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 30 gifts to officials, soldiers, and workers in difficult circumstances who suffered labor accidents; and presented 1 Trade Union Shelter.
