As part of the program to visit and encourage units on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on January 13, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation visited and presented gifts to the medical staff at the Hanoi General Hospital of Traditional Medicine and the Hanoi Center for Disease Control. Also attending was Mr. Trinh To Tam - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, Chairman of the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union.
During the visit, the Directors and Chairmen of the Trade Unions of the units briefly informed about the medical examination and treatment, disease prevention and control work of the unit in the past time and the work of taking care of the lives of officers, employees and workers at the unit during the Lunar New Year At Ty.
Reporting to the leaders of the City Labor Federation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang - Deputy Director of the Traditional Medicine General Hospital said that the Hospital currently has 22 departments and 323 officers, employees and workers.
In 2024, the Hospital has made efforts to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, gradually gaining the trust of patients, so the number of patients coming for examination and inpatient treatment is increasing. The Hospital has also always fulfilled all tasks assigned by the Hanoi Department of Health as well as the City in ensuring medical services for events in Hanoi.
In particular, the hospital always focuses on taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. The hospital always creates a friendly working environment. Employees are encouraged and motivated when they have good achievements and are sent for training when they have a direction to strive and develop their expertise. The hospital ensures that the lives of staff and workers are increasingly improved, in addition to salary, there is also additional income.
Accompanying the government, the Hospital's Trade Union also operates very actively and effectively, demonstrating: Organizing 100% of employees to go on vacation, celebrate birthdays, visit when sick, when the staff's family has a funeral..., organizing video clip contests about the activities of each department in the hospital, very exciting cultural and sports movements attracting many staff to actively participate, thereby spreading the spirit of solidarity and collective strength throughout the hospital.

At the Hanoi Center for Disease Control, Mr. Bui Van Hoa - Director of the Center said: In the past year, union members and employees at the Center have always been dedicated, responsible and fulfilled all assigned tasks well. The Hospital Union has regularly and proactively coordinated with the Center's leadership to organize many activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and employees.
At the same time, the leaders of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control also expressed their gratitude for the attention, sharing and encouragement from the Capital Trade Union over the past time. This is a great source of encouragement and motivation to help the staff, union members and workers at the Center feel secure in their work.
Listening, sharing and respectfully thanking the dedication and responsibility of the medical staff over the past year, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, on behalf of the Capital Labor Union, acknowledged and commended the efforts of the two units and the collective union members and workers of the unit who overcame all difficulties and successfully completed the work of caring for and protecting the health of the people.
The Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation hopes that the medical staff, doctors, and medical staff of the units will continue to promote the spirit and responsibility of a physician "a good doctor is like a mother", strive for the peace of the community and society, and have new advantages and prosperity in 2025. On the occasion of Tet, the Hanoi City Labor Federation presented 1 gift box to each unit and 100 individual union members and workers of Hanoi Traditional Medicine General Hospital and Hanoi Center for Disease Control, each gift box included 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND.
Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union presented each unit with gifts and 5 million VND in cash, and 10 individuals each with 500,000 VND and gifts.
