On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1st, the Hanoi City Labor Federation organized visits and gifts to encourage workers of Hanoi Drainage One Member Limited Liability Company. The activities were implemented under the authorization of Party and State leaders and Hanoi City.
At the program, Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation directly presented 30 gifts to 30 workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 2.5 million VND, including 2 million VND in cash and gifts worth 500,000 VND. The gifts, although not large in terms of material, have profound spiritual significance, promptly encouraging workers to strive to overcome difficulties and feel secure in their work.
This is an activity of practical political and social significance, showing the concern of the Party, State and Hanoi City for ensuring social security, caring for the lives of workers, especially those in difficult circumstances. Thereby contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc, maintaining social stability in the Capital.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh, Hanoi City was allocated 200 gifts from central leaders for workers in difficult circumstances. Due to working conditions, the City Party Committee leaders authorized the City Labor Federation to directly organize the presentation of gifts to workers.
The Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation emphasized that this activity aims to honor and express gratitude for the silent contributions of the team of workers; and at the same time add motivation for workers, especially those working in heavy and hazardous environments, to continue to strive and stick with their work.
Recognizing the achievements of Hanoi Drainage One Member Limited Liability Company in the past time, leaders of the City Labor Federation highly appreciated the efforts of the unit collective in both ensuring production and business efficiency and successfully completing political tasks in the Capital, especially in drainage and flood prevention.
