The event opened at 4:00 p.m. on November 22 at 22 Gallery (22 Pham Cu Luong, Tan Son Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and will last until November 30, 2025.
Although Minh Chau was born into a family with no artistic tradition, he showed his talent for painting since he first learned to hold a pen. During the online learning period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Minh Chau had the opportunity to study with a Vietnamese artist living in Europe. This special teacher does not teach painting techniques but guides Minh Chau to learn about the school of painting, famous paintings and how to feel painting through a creative perspective, helping him develop his own free style.

To date, Minh Chau has owned more than 200 works of diverse sizes and materials. Despite being busy with studying, young artists still maintain a habit of composing regularly every week. For Minh Chau, painting is not only a joy but also a way to express his thoughts, emotions and the world of his imagination.
Sharing about her first exhibition, Minh Chau said: On the sky and under the sea are paintings of what I see and love, from the ground to the blue sky. I hope viewers can feel your small world where everything starts from your imagination.
The exhibition also has a humanistic meaning when the family and Minh Chau decided to donate 40% of their painting sales to support the people of the Central region to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The event is not only a gift to encourage Minh Chau's passion but also a starting point for a long creative journey, contributing to spreading the artistic spirit and compassion to the community.
