On May 15, the Announcement Ceremony of the S-Race 2026 Student Run with the message "For a healthy Vietnam - For Vietnamese stature" took place in Ca Mau.
Immediately after the Announcement Ceremony, competition activities were organized, attracting the participation of more than 12,000 people including 4,200 students, teachers, and parents at the direct event at Phan Ngoc Hien Square and 8,200 athletes at 15 response points in wards and communes in the province.
In particular, for the first time, S-Race expands its audience to preschool students, bringing all age groups of students to participate.
Programs such as S-Race Family, S-Race School are constantly innovating to help strengthen the connection between students, teachers, family and school, joining hands to take care of school health and build a healthy lifestyle.
S-Race 2026 is co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Television, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, Unicomm Media Company and related units, responding to the spirit of Resolution 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 on breakthroughs in education and training development, Resolution 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health; and at the same time implementing Decision 641/QD-TTg dated April 28, 2011 on the Overall Project on Physical Strength and Stature Development of Vietnamese People for the period 2011 - 2030 and the Strategy for Development of Vietnamese Physical Education and Sports to 2030, vision to 2045 according to Decision 1189/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.
With that spirit, S-Race gradually realizes the goal of comprehensive human development: German - Intellectual - Physical - American through an operating system that is increasingly expanding and developing year by year, spreading positive values to the younger generation and the social community.
S-Race is the first school sports project in Vietnam to set a World Record. In 2026, S-Race will organize 2 main events in Ca Mau (May 16) and Da Nang (November 14) along with diverse live and online activities, attractive companion campaigns for more than 23 million students, families, and schools in 34 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

Millions of steps at S-Race are not only limited to sports, but also carry shared values. Specifically, the For Vietnamese Stature Fund will contribute 5,000 VND/BIB at the direct race and 200 VND/km conquered at online challenges to the Fund to support the treatment of motor disabilities for children in difficult circumstances.
After 3 years of companionship, the amount contributed has reached nearly 1.6 billion VND, and up to now, 70 pediatric patients have been supported with surgeries and rehabilitation.
Special communication campaigns on school nutrition, scientific advocacy, integrating cultural and historical values of the country to educate and nurture human values so that children can grow up comprehensively, thereby affirming the pioneering role of the young generation in the new era, realizing the aspiration "For a healthy Vietnam - For Vietnamese stature".
