Ministry of Public Security starts construction of 477 apartment housing project for officers and soldiers

The Ministry of Public Security organized the groundbreaking ceremony for a housing project for the People's Police force in Ho Chi Minh City with a scale of 477 apartments.

On July 16, the Ministry of Public Security organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the housing construction project for the armed forces of the People's Police (CAND) at No. 7/39, Cay Dau hamlet, Tang Nhon Phu ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, the housing construction project for the People's Public Security Forces is being implemented on a land area of more than 6,200m2 at No. 7/39, Cay Dau hamlet, Tang Nhon Phu ward with a scale of 1 30-story building with 2 basements; with a number of 477 apartments with areas from 65-77m2. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2028.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security shared the difficulties, hardships, and sacrifices of officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces in general, and officers and soldiers of Ho Chi Minh City Police in particular.

The project to build housing for the armed forces of the People's Public Security Forces in Tang Nhon Phu ward is a project of special social significance, concretizing the policy of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and Ho Chi Minh City on caring for the lives of officers and soldiers, contributing to stabilizing life so that officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces can feel secure in their work and be ready to complete all assigned tasks.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc thanked Ho Chi Minh City and the locality for their concern and support in the housing project for CAND officers and soldiers; and wished to continue to receive support from the government and people in the project implementation process.

To complete the project in the near future, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested the investor to focus resources on organizing construction, completing the project on schedule, ensuring the highest quality, high aesthetic value for users and beauty for the landscape and architecture of Ho Chi Minh City.
