The 2+2 Liaison Program for Chinese Language major of CMC University helps Vietnamese students access scholarships from the Chinese government.

On April 13, 2026, CMC University and Hanoi National University of Education (Beijing, China) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and implementation of the 2+2 international joint training program for Chinese Language.

The program offers opportunities to access attractive scholarships from the Chinese government, helping students optimize costs and increase learning experiences in an international environment.

2+2 international joint training program

China is currently one of the major economic partners and a vibrant, potential market, opening up many learning, job and career development opportunities for young human resources in Vietnam.

Grasping that trend, CMC University has cooperated with Hanoi National University of Education (Beijing, China) to implement the 2+2 international joint training program for Chinese Language.

CNU is a key public school in Beijing, under the "Double First Class" program, building a world-class university and training industry of the Chinese government. With a history of more than 70 years and a scale of 27,000 students, the school provides multidisciplinary training, in which the outstanding strengths belong to the fields of pedagogy, languages, social sciences and technology.

When participating in the 2+2 international linkage program between CMC and CNU, in the first 2 years, students will study in Vietnam to build a language and soft skills foundation, then transfer to China to study for the next 2 years with a training environment entirely in Chinese. After completing the program, students will receive a dual bachelor's degree issued by both CMC University and Hanoi National University of Education, recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and many countries around the world.

At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Rector of CMC University affirmed: "The program not only opens up international learning opportunities for students but also creates a wide career development corridor, especially in fields with Chinese elements. This is an important step in the strategy of internationalizing education, helping CMC students confidently integrate in the future.

Attractive scholarships from the Chinese government

One of the highlights of the program is the scholarship mechanism sponsored by the Chinese Government, for students in their final year at the Hanoi National University of Education. Students who meet the requirements when completing the entire third year curriculum will be considered for a scholarship worth 23,600 yuan (about 90 million VND), equivalent to 100% of the fourth year tuition fee.

With clear and accessible conditions, the opportunity to receive scholarships is open to all students if they ensure progress and academic results. Through this, the program helps optimize study abroad costs, create conditions for students to access an international training environment with reasonable financial resources, while still ensuring to receive a bachelor's degree from the Hanoi National University of Education.

Besides the cost advantage, two years of studying in China bring a clear practical experience when students are directly exposed to the living environment, culture and working style of local people. Learning entirely in Chinese helps naturally improve language skills, while training adaptability and integration in the international environment.
