On July 5, the Hai Phong City Civil Defense Command issued a notice on lifting the ban on some activities in the river mouth and sea area in the city.

According to the announcement, immediately after receiving the final bulletin on storm No. 1 (MAYSAK) provided by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the city allows activities in the river mouth, coastal and offshore areas to return to normal.

Specifically, tourist ships, ships, and boats exploiting aquatic products are allowed to go to sea; tourism and entertainment activities in the sea and island areas; exploitation, farming, and fishing activities of aquatic products and other activities in the river mouth, coastal and offshore areas are restored.

The lifting of the ban is implemented based on the provisions of the Law on Civil Defense, the Law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and guiding documents for implementation, and based on the actual developments of storm No. 1.
