41 super-thin houses under 9m2 appear after clearing Xuyen Tam canal, authorities speak out

After the clearance of Xuyen Tam canal, 41 super-thin houses under 9m2 appeared that were repaired by people on the remaining land to continue living. According to Gia Dinh Ward People's Committee, the whole ward has 869 cases subject to land acquisition for project implementation, including 606 cases of full clearance and 263 cases of partial clearance.

Through review, in 263 partially cleared cases, there are 214 cases with an area of 9m2 or more and 49 cases with an area of less than 9m2, including land plots originating from canals. Among these 49 cases, 8 cases are vacant land, without construction works; the remaining 41 cases have existing houses or works and people are still living there.

After prolonged floods, large reservoirs in Son La are being closely monitored

At Son La hydropower reservoir, the current water level is at 198.37m, still within safe limits. The plant does not have to open the bottom discharge gate, 6/6 units maintain stable power generation. The work of monitoring water level, water flow to the reservoir and operating the project is carried out closely and proactively according to rain and flood developments.

Maintaining power generation in safe water conditions shows that the operation of the reservoir is being controlled, both ensuring the safety of the project and meeting electricity supply requirements. Recorded at Nam Chien hydropower reservoir, Ngoc Chien commune, the amount of water entering the reservoir increased after many days of heavy rain. The management unit proactively operates and discharges floodwater according to procedures. Construction items are regularly inspected, water levels and water flow to the reservoir are monitored to promptly regulate.

After implementing the provision and use of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund for gasoline and oil items as above, the selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market are as follows: E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 20,888 VND/liter (an increase of 1,062 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 547 VND/liter.

E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 21,435 VND/liter (an increase of 885 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price); 0.05S diesel oil: not higher than 25,768 VND/liter (an increase of 2,439 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price); 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 15,562 VND/kg (an increase of 1,103 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
