Gasoline prices down, oil up from this afternoon
Gasoline prices have decreased across the board, while oil prices have increased since 3 p.m. today (October 31) after adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
In today's adjustment session, RON 95 gasoline price decreased compared to the previous adjustment period, at 20,500 VND/liter (down 320 VND/liter).
E5 RON 290 gasoline price decreased compared to the previous adjustment period, priced at 19,400 VND/liter (down 290 VND/liter).
Prices of petroleum products increased simultaneously. Of which, diesel price increased by 90 VND, to 18,140 VND/liter; kerosene has a new price of 18,830 VND (up 260 VND/liter); mazut has a new price of 16,460 VND/kg (up 240 VND/kg).

Carrying a car through the flood, looking for a phone signal to report being isolated
On the morning of October 31, Mr. Le Trong Tuong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Son commune (Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province) confirmed that in the area, Cat and Tria villages are still isolated due to landslides and floodwaters causing flooding of culverts and spillways.
The two villages mentioned above have 155 households with 732 ethnic minority people.
Both villages are more than 10km from the center of Huong Son commune, surrounded by mountains and forests. There are two ways to get to Cat and Tria. From the center of the commune, you can take the forest road, and from National Highway 9 (Cam Lo district), the road has been eroded since previous years, making travel very difficult.
Strong young men went with the village chief to carry the vehicle, cross the flood water to find a place with phone signal to report being isolated.

Candidates tend to choose the Social Science combination exam.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates choosing the Social Science exam is more dominant than the Natural Science exam in the 2020-2024 period.
Mr. Huynh Van Chuong - Director of Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the results of the high school graduation exam for the period 2020-2024, statistics show that the average score of Social Science subjects increased slightly every year.
In contrast, Natural Science subjects had stable and lower scores.
Regarding the orientation of organizing the high school graduation exam from 2025, the Director of the Department of Quality Management expects that all candidates (including independent candidates) will be able to register online.
Each candidate takes 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects and 2 elective subjects, so there will be 36 admission combinations, making it more convenient for candidates.
