Proposing not to merge, keeping the most populous ward in Ho Chi Minh City
On August 29, according to Di An Ward People's Committee, the Executive Committee of the Di An Ward Party Committee held the 13th expanded conference, term 2025-2030. At the conference, delegates unanimously proposed not to merge, maintaining the stability of the boundaries and organizational structure of Di An Ward according to the two-level local government organization.
According to Di An Ward People's Committee, currently the ward has ensured the criteria of commune-level administrative units according to regulations, and at the same time has a population size, area, urban infrastructure and appropriate socio-economic development conditions.
The ward has an area of about 21.38 km2 and a population of 227,817 people. This is identified as the most populous ward in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the first day of the National Day holiday on September 2nd, the number of passengers at major bus stations in Hanoi only increased slightly compared to normal days. Meanwhile, Noi Bai International Airport is expected to serve about 115,000 passengers, but operations are still smooth.
On the morning of August 29, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters' records at My Dinh and Giap Bat bus stations showed that the number of passengers entering the station to buy tickets and get on the bus was only slightly higher than usual days.
Some short routes such as Hanoi - Vinh Phuc, Hanoi - Hoa Binh, Hanoi - Bac Ninh are quite deserted. Many buses depart with only about 40% of seats filled.

Inauguration of 330 billion VND water supply dam project in Tuyen Quang
On August 29, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Dam Project to create a landscape for the center of Ha Giang.
The Dam Project to create a landscape for the center of Ha Giang City (old) was implemented from 2022 to 2026. This is a group B project, a level II project in the field of agriculture and rural development with a total investment of 330 billion VND.
The bridge connects the transportation system on both banks of the river, including National Highway 2 and the southern ring road of the city.
Along with dams and bridges, the project also arranges a dyke system to protect both banks of the river within the project area, reinforcing the downstream channel.
