Hanoi has exempted buses for 130,000 passengers in Ring Road 1
From July 1 to now, the multi-modal interconnected electronic ticket system has served about 130,000 passengers moving within Ring Road 1 for free.
The multi-modal interconnected electronic ticket card system was put into operation by Hanoi City from June 25, 2026. Immediately after operation, the system automatically calculates the travel distance within Ring Road 1 to implement a free policy for people according to the Resolution of the Hanoi City People's Council, applied from July 1, 2026 to the end of June 30, 2027.

Heavy rain in Dien Bien causes landslides on many roads
From June 5 - 7, heavy prolonged rain occurred in Dien Bien province, causing landslides on National Highway 6, causing temporary traffic congestion.
