Fishermen who used to fight Typhoon Yagi support reinforcing ships before Typhoon Maysak
At 9 am on July 4, Cai Xa Cong port was quite quiet. Many fishing boats were in stable anchor positions. The work of receiving, arranging and tying boats here was completed from the evening of July 3. Cai Xa Cong port is one of the familiar storm shelters for fishing boats in Quang Ninh waters.
After Typhoon Yagi in 2024, this area is assessed by many fishermen as a safe anchorage point, often chosen when storms or tropical depressions appear at sea. Before the developments of Typhoon No. 1 in 2026 (Maysak), Ha Tu Ward People's Committee mobilized a number of experienced fishermen to tie up boats and ships, who had participated in responding to Typhoon Yagi, and coordinated with forces at the wharf to re-inspect the entire anchorage area.

Gold prices increase, stores no longer jostle in line to buy
On the morning of July 4, reporters recorded at Tran Nhan Tong gold street (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi) - where many large gold businesses in Hanoi are concentrated - the number of customers coming to buy and sell gold was somewhat sparse. Domestic gold prices are anchored at a high level, and stores are not overloaded as in previous times.

In the transaction area, customers only need to wait for a short time to be able to transact. There is no longer a scene of long lines of people standing crowded on the sidewalk or jostling from early morning to buy gold. According to records, many listed stores sell plain round gold rings with stable supply. Customers who need to buy can transact immediately, without being limited in quantity as during the market period of scarce supply.
