Rain in the South tends to decrease from the coming days
According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the next 24-48 hours, the low pressure trough will still be maintained over the Central region, combined with the Southwest monsoon operating with moderate intensity. The wind convergence zone moves westward and weakens, while the subtropical high pressure at high altitude tends to encroach westward.
For the weather trend from 3-10 days, the low pressure trough will gradually raise its axis to the North and weaken; around August 5th, a low pressure trough is likely to form through the North. The Southwest monsoon will maintain medium intensity and gradually strengthen from around August 5th, while the subtropical high pressure will also weaken.
Therefore, rain in the South is forecast to gradually decrease in both scope and amount in the coming days.
