According to the report, in recent times, the leaders of the Provincial Police have directed the Traffic Police and functional forces to synchronously and drastically deploy many measures to control traffic accidents.
However, the traffic accident situation is still complicated. In the first quarter of 2025, statistics from the Ha Tinh Department of Construction show that there were 90 accidents in the whole province, killing 62 people and injuring 41 people.
Faced with the increasing number of cases and deaths due to traffic accidents, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has issued a document directing the synchronous implementation of solutions to reduce accidents.
At the conference, representatives of the Department of Construction and the Department of Education and Training also proposed solutions for coordination between sectors and local authorities in propaganda work to limit accidents.
Concluding the conference, Colonel Dang Hoai Son - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - requested that in the coming time, continue to mobilize maximum traffic police forces to coordinate with other forces and commune-level police to strengthen patrolling, controlling, and handling violations, focusing on routes and areas with complicated traffic safety and order situations.
Focus on implementing the plan to conduct a general review, inspection, and handling of violating motorbike and motorbike drivers; Mobilize the synchronous and drastic mobilization of the Commune Police force and grassroots security forces.
Request the Department of Education and Training to strengthen propaganda work in schools. Organize Working Groups 238, 256, mobilize commune-level police forces to patrol and control closed time and area.
Focus on effectively conducting basic investigation work, grasping the situation of complex routes and areas regarding traffic safety and order, promptly identifying and detecting road sections that often have accidents for timely patrolling, handling and rectifying.
