This achievement is not only the pride of the young male student but also a testament to a journey of pursuing music with perseverance, discipline and the spirit of constantly overcoming personal limits.
Asia Arts Festival is known as an art playground gathering young talents from 16 countries and territories. To participate in the competition, Dang Cong Danh chose the aria "It Ain't Necessarily So", taken from the world-famous Jazz Opera "Porgy and Bess" by composer George Gershwin, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin.
With the guidance of lecturer and singer Dao Nguyen Vu (Department of Vocal Music - Vietnam National Academy of Music), Dang Cong Danh spent a lot of time completing every detail of the performance, from vocal technique, rhythm processing to acting and stage presence. This serious preparation helped the male student from Vietnam conquer the judges and win a Gold Medal in the advanced competition.
Commenting on his student, lecturer - singer Dao Nguyen Vu said that Dang Cong Danh is one of the students who left him with many impressions because of his progressive spirit and serious will to pursue art.

According to him, Cong Danh does not have a too favorable starting point, but has rare perseverance in a young person. Lecturer Dao Nguyen Vu especially appreciated Dang Cong Danh's self-learning ability and discipline.
Before the success at the Asia Arts Festival in Singapore, Cong Danh soon made his mark in many domestic art playgrounds when he reached the semi-finals of the program "Tuyet dinh Song ca nhi" in the team of singers Cam Ly and artist Huynh Lap, and was also specially admitted by musician Ho Hoai Anh to the Blind Auditions of "The Voice Kids". Although the program later had to stop due to the COVID-19 epidemic, those were still valuable experiences that helped Cong Danh mature more on the artistic path.
In addition, Dang Cong Danh also owns many First, Second and Excellent prizes at arts competitions, children's singing and art performance festivals in Hai Phong. For Dang Cong Danh, the Gold Medal at the Asia Arts Festival is not a destination but a motivation to continue moving forward.
He said he will continue to study, participate in competitions at home and abroad, gradually building the image of a young artist with expertise, bravery and always spreading positive energy.
