The Hoa Lu Cup 2025 will start from March 4 to 9 at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium. This year's tournament has the participation of 12 teams (6 men's teams, 6 women's teams) but unfortunately, there are 2 famous teams missing, Duc Giang Chemicals (women) and Sanest Khanh Hoa (men).
According to the draw results, Group A includes VTV Binh Dien Long An, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, Vietinbank (women); Group B includes LPB Ninh Binh, Geleximco Thai Binh, Information Corps (women); Group C includes Border Guard, Lavie Long An, The Cong Tan Cang (men); Group D includes LPB Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City Police (men).
The tournament format is a round-robin competition with 1 round of points. The 3rd place team in each group will compete for 5-6th place; The top 2 teams in each group will cross the semi-finals to find the champion.
The Hoa Lu Cup 2025 allows teams to recruit a maximum of 2 foreign players. However, during the competition period, there is only a maximum of 1 foreign player on the field.
