The Vietnam U23 team has just finished a short training trip in Qatar to prepare for the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals. Coach Kim Sang-sik's team had a training match with U23 Syria with a 1-2 defeat.
Through this match, the Korean coach will have a comprehensive view of the force, the ability of each position as well as timely adjustments in tactics and playing style.
Currently, the personnel of U23 Vietnam have been changed. Goalkeeper Nguyen Tan is injured, replaced by Pham Dinh Hai. In addition, Thanh Nhan is also having physical problems, likely unable to play. Therefore, Mr. Kim Sang-sik is forced to come up with reasonable plans to ensure strength for his team.
