Phase 1 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will kick off at the end of March. This season, the men's and women's events will compete at the same location and time.
Accordingly, phase 1 will take place from March 22 to March 31 at Dong Anh Stadium, Hanoi and phase 2 will start from October 10 to October 19 at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium.
In the women's event alone, the 8 participating clubs are VTV Binh Dien Long An, Hoa Chat Duc Giang Lao Cai, LPB Ninh Binh, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, Geleximco Thai Binh, Vietinbank, Information Corps, Ho Chi Minh City.
In which, VTV Binh Dien Long An is the defending champion, Duc Giang Chemicals is the defending runner-up and Ho Chi Minh City is the rookie of the tournament.
This year, the teams have invested heavily to aim for the championship. According to the regulations, each team is allowed to register 2 foreign players, but during the competition period, only a maximum of 1 foreign player is used. Currently, clubs are not in a hurry to announce foreign players in the registration list.
