MINH PHONG |

Updated match schedule of the Vietnam futsal team in the 2026 Asian qualifiers.

In the 2026 Asian Futsal Qualifiers, the Vietnam futsal team is in Group E with Hong Kong (China), China and Lebanon.

Being able to practice and compete with strong opponents during the recent preparation period will be a stepping stone to help Vietnam have great confidence when entering the tournament.

The combination of experienced players and a growing young generation will be a fulcrum for coach Diego Giustozzi and his team to aim to realize the goal set in Group E.

According to the match schedule, the Vietnam futsal team will face Hong Kong (China) on September 20, China on September 22 and Lebanon on September 24. All matches will take place at Linping Sport Center Gymnasium, Hangzhou, China.

Ahead of the tournament, coach Diego Giustozzi said: "We have had 3 weeks of training in Vietnam, then 10 days of training in Kuwait and China. I think the whole team has prepared well for this mission.

The upcoming group is full of challenges. There may be many different opinions about the level of the teams, but in my opinion, all three opponents are quality teams. The coaching staff always tries to prepare the players with a strong mentality. I believe in my students, and as long as they are confident in themselves, we will have no problems to fear.

14:30 on September 20: Vietnam - Hong Kong (China)
