On September 17, a working delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Can Tho City led by Mr. Do Thanh Binh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee - visited and congratulated the monks, religious dignitaries and Khmer people on the occasion of the Sene Dolta festival.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Venerable Tang No - Deputy Venerable of the Providence Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Association of Vietnam-Loving Propagated Propagating Propagating Propagations of Can Tho City, Provided by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Can Tho City; visited the Board of Directors and monks of Kh'Leang, som Rong, Peam - Buol - Chas Pagoda and Pothisatharam Pagoda (Soc Trang Ward); families of cadres, exemplary families, prestigious people among the Khmer people; and the collective of cadres and teachers of the Southern Pali Cultural Heritage School.
At the places visited, Secretary of the City Party Committee Do Thanh Binh kindly requested to visit the lives of Khmer people and share about the socio-economic development situation after the merger of administrative units. He affirmed that although it has just been implemented, the apparatus of the two levels of government has quickly stabilized, paying attention to people's lives. Currently, the whole city has more than 11% of the ethnic minority population, mainly Khmer people with many important contributions to the local economic, cultural and social development.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee hopes that the Venerable, Venerable, monks and monks, and the Pagoda Management Board will continue to promote their core role as the core unit in the community, encourage the Khmer people to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies, compete in labor production, maintain security and order, and well implement the motto "Good life, good behavior".

For the Southern Pali Intermediate Cultural Supplementary School - a place for cultural and pedagogical training for the increase of children in the Mekong Delta region, Mr. Binh suggested that the school improve the quality of teaching, maintain the achievement of 100% of high school graduates for many consecutive years, and increase the student participation rate, increase the number of students admitted to universities and colleges.
