On May 23, information from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has issued a decision to transfer, assign, and appoint comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the province cum Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union - to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Kim Lien Commune Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.
According to Decision No. 786-QD/TU dated May 8, 2026, Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy received a new assignment from May 22, 2026.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy took on the position replacing Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Kim Lien commune. Previously, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duc was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Head of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone Management Board from February 28, 2026.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy is an official who grew up from youth union work, having held many positions in the Youth Union system and the Fatherland Front. In her position as Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, she has participated in directing many youth movements, social security activities, startups and digital transformation among youth in the province.
