On February 6th and 7th, the Border Guard Command of Son La province coordinated with the People's Committee of Xuan Nha commune and units and sponsors to organize the "Border Spring - Warming People's Hearts" Binh Ngo Spring 2026 Program.
This is an activity that has been maintained for many years. The program is organized in rotation in border communes. Thanks to that, it has become a festival connecting military-civilian relations in border areas.
Colonel Pham Tung Lam, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Border Guard of Son La province emphasized: "Every year, the program is organized in a commune or cluster of communes. This is not only a meaningful social security activity, but also truly becomes a festival for people in border areas. Thereby, bringing joy, joyful atmosphere and warm affection every Tet holiday, spring returns to border villages.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented more than 1,500 gifts to policy families and poor households. Each gift included cash, rice, warm blankets, pork and necessities.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also donated 48 computers, 5 bicycles and 30 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances who strive to study well in Xuan Nha commune.
People are also provided with medical examination and treatment, free medicine and free haircuts. Many exciting cultural and sports activities are also organized, including banh chung wrapping contests, banh day pounding, stick pushing, tug-of-war, con throwing and cultural exchanges.
The total value of the program is over 900 million VND.
