On the morning of November 27, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Cao Bang province held the 14th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
The congress was attended by Comrade Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and 232 official delegates.
For the 2019 - 2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels closely follows political tasks, promotes supervision, social criticism and innovates the content and methods of operation. The work of mobilizing and gathering people has been expanded, focusing on the grassroots, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
Many major movements and campaigns have been effectively implemented, creating a wide-reaching influence such as "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

The whole province mobilized 50 tons of cement and more than 15,000 working days to support 3,260 households to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. The "For the Poor" Fund and socialized resources have allocated more than 44,200 Tet gifts worth over VND23.9 billion.
Relief and humanitarian work has been promptly implemented with a total value of more than 450 billion VND and nearly 2,000 tons of necessities; of which 338 billion VND and all necessities have been allocated to support people in the province and some localities affected by natural disasters.
The Provincial Fatherland Front completed the arrangement of the apparatus to streamline and improve operational efficiency. After the arrangement, the provincial Fatherland Front agency has 10 departments and offices; 1 public service unit and 13 mass organizations.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga highly appreciated the achieved results and at the same time suggested that the Provincial Fatherland Front continue to concretize Resolution No. 43 of the 13th Central Committee, promote the application of digital technology, improve the quality of supervision - criticism in the direction of "clear work, clear responsibility, clear efficiency".
On the local side, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Quan Minh Cuong requested the Fatherland Front at all levels to strengthen propaganda about great national unity, promote the patriotic emulation movement, improve the effectiveness of supervision and criticism; innovate activities in the direction of being close to the people, close to the grassroots and actively contributing to the province's sustainable development goals.
The Congress unanimously elected 106 members of the 14th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Mr. Vu Hong Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. The Congress also sent a delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term.
