On November 27, information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Cao Bang province, yesterday afternoon (November 26) at the Provincial Conference Center, the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Cao Bang province, term 2025-2030, held its first working session.
Participating were Mr. Tran Manh Hoai - Deputy Head of the Social Work Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; provincial leaders including comrades: Vu Hong Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vu Khac Quang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee... and 232 official delegates.
At the working session, the Congress observed a minute of silence to commemorate the people and frontline forces affected by recent storms and floods, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and sharing with affected localities.
In particular, the consultation congress elected the Presidium and the Secretariat; approved the program, rules, regulations and listened to reports on the situation of delegates, drafted Political Reports, gave comments on amending the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and reviewed the activities of the 13th tenure.
According to the report, in the past term, the Cao Bang Provincial Fatherland Front innovated its methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots; effectively implementing campaigns and emulation movements.
The whole province mobilized more than 176 billion VND from the "For the Poor" Fund, 50 tons of cement and over 15,000 working days to support the demolition of temporary houses for more than 3,200 households. Natural disaster relief work was carried out promptly with more than 450 billion VND and nearly 2,000 tons of mobilized necessities.
The Congress unanimously elected 106 members of the 14th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and 12 delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On the same afternoon, the first conference of the 14th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee elected Mr. Vu Hong Quang as Chairman; Mr. Vu Khac Quang as Permanent Vice Chairman; 4 comrades as Vice Chairmen.
The second working session took place on the morning of November 27, continuing the key contents and approving the Resolution of the Congress.
