According to the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, with the spirit of urgency, responsibility, collective intelligence, democracy, and innovation, the 13th Conference of the Party Central Committee (term XIII) meeting from October 6, 2025 to October 8, 2025 has completed all the contents and programs set out.
The conference gave opinions and decided on a number of important contents of strategic significance for the country's development and the preparation for the 14th National Congress of the Party (the 14th National Congress of the Party).
The 13th Conference of the Party Central Committee (term XIII) discussed, gave in-depth, comprehensive opinions and highly agreed on many important contents, including a group of issues on the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress.
Accordingly, the 14th National Party Congress is scheduled to take place for 7 days, from January 19, 2026 to January 25, 2026.
The Congress will discuss and approve documents, including 4 reports: (i) Political report. (ii) Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented innovation in Vietnam over the past 40 years. (iii) Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter. (iv) Report on the review of the leadership and direction of the 13th Party Central Committee.
The Congress discussed and approved the Report on personnel work of the 14th Party Central Committee; implemented the process of electing the 14th Party Central Committee according to the Election Regulations at the 14th Party Congress.
Regarding the draft documents of the 14th National Congress, the Party Central Committee assessed that the Draft documents of the 14th National Congress have been carefully prepared, updated, revised and supplemented many times, especially the contents that were unanimously approved at the 11th Central Conference and the 12th Central Conference.
The structure and content of the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress have many innovations, demonstrating the spirit of looking straight at the truth, objectively assessing the situation, on that basis proposing a system of guiding viewpoints, national development goals, orientations, key tasks and breakthrough solutions for rapid and sustainable national development, demonstrating the aspiration of the whole nation to rise strongly in the new era of development.
According to the draft Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee at the 14th National Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress took place in the context of rapid international and regional changes, many uncertainties and uncertainties, very complicated developments that are difficult to predict. After 40 years of renovation, the foundation, potential, position and international prestige have been raised to a new height.
With the motto of Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development, the Congress determined the thinking, vision, and strategic decisions to help us firmly move forward in the new era, successfully implementing the country's development goals by 2030 when our Party celebrates 100 years of establishment (1930 - 2030); realizing the development vision to 2045, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945 - 2045).
The theme of the 14th National Party Congress is: Under the glorious flag of the Party, join hands and unanimously successfully implement the country's development goals by 2030; strategic autonomy, self-reliance, confidence, and strong progress in the era of national growth, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadfastly moving towards socialism.
The determination of the theme of the above Congress demonstrates the unity of ideas and actions, strengthening confidence, affirming the bravery and intelligence of the Party and the strength of the entire nation, continuing to arouse the desire to build and develop a strong and prosperous country, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers in the new era.
