The VESAMO delegation led by Mr. Chang Ho Ick, Vice Chairman of Dongwon Group, Vice Chairman of Busan City Department of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of VESAMO visited and worked in Vietnam.
Welcoming the VESAMO Delegation to visit and work in Vietnam, Chairman Do Van Chien affirmed that the Vietnam - Korea relationship is a special symbol of political trust, dynamism and sustainability in economic cooperation and deep attachment in people-to-people exchanges; at the same time, affirmed to continue to support Korea's development policies and be ready to closely coordinate with the Korean side to effectively implement the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries to increasingly become more in-depth, substantial and effective, bringing benefits to the people of the two countries.
According to Chairman Do Van Chien, the two countries of Vietnam and Korea have comprehensive strategic partnership in all fields. The two countries have many similarities, trust each other in bilateral cooperation, and always support each other in multilateral relations.
In addition, the Association of Koreans who love Vietnam, together with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, contributes to the people's foreign affairs activities between the two countries of Korea and Vietnam, thereby contributing to firmly consolidating the three pillars of foreign affairs of the Party, State diplomacy, and people's foreign affairs that the 13th National Party Congress has proposed. People-to-people exchanges and cooperation activities between the two countries have created a positive and favorable social foundation for the strong development of bilateral relations.

According to Chairman Do Van Chien, there are currently about 300,000 Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Korea and nearly 200,000 Koreans doing business living in Vietnam. In particular, about 80,000 Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families are increasingly contributing to strengthening the strong relationship between the two countries.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his sincere thanks to the Association of Koreans who love Vietnam for their good feelings and support for the Vietnamese community in Korea, helping Vietnamese students living and studying in Korea.
Sharing with the VESAMO delegation, Chairman Do Van Chien said that the Party and State of Vietnam are carrying out a revolution of streamlining the apparatus, being compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient, in which the decision to merge and consolidate socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State is under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
From July 1, 2025, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations will share a roof with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, which will contribute to better implementing the political tasks of each agency in implementing people's foreign affairs work, Chairman Do Van Chien shared.
Affirming that during its activities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received effective support from businesses and Koreans who love Vietnam, Chairman Do Van Chien said that it is the sharing during the time when the Vietnamese people are in difficulty that has contributed to social security work and aroused the spirit of Korean love among Vietnamese people.

Appreciating the activities of the Association of Koreans for the Love of Vietnam, Chairman Do Van Chien believes that in the coming time, on the basis of the pillar of people's foreign affairs, the friendship organizations of the two countries in which the Association of Koreans for the Love of Vietnam will continue to have many diverse, rich and realistic exchange activities, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the people of the two countries.
During this visit, the VESAMO delegation attended and started construction of 2 charity houses in Ung Hoa district and presented livelihoods to 10 families with a total value of 100 million VND; visited and learned about investment cooperation opportunities in Quang Ninh province; organized a Vietnam-Korea friendly exchange night to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification in Hanoi.
