Bac Ninh has enough basis to become a centrally-governed city
Speaking at the Congress, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF), Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien conveyed the greetings and sharing of the leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front to the government and people of Bac Ninh province who suffered great damage due to the recent storms No. 10 and No. 11.
At the same time, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also transferred 20 billion VND as a contribution from people and soldiers nationwide to support Bac Ninh province to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
Mr. Do Van Chien said that, looking back at 40 years of implementing the Party's reform guidelines, our country has achieved many great achievements of historical significance. The poverty rate of the whole country is still below 2%, GDP per capita reaches over 5,000 USD/person/year. 3 strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure, and human resource quality achieved positive results.
Our country has just completed the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system according to the model of an effective, efficient, and efficient two-level local government, which has been supported by the people and highly appreciated by international friends.
The whole country has also completed support for the construction and repair of 334,000 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and the disadvantaged, while exempting tuition fees for all students.

For Bac Ninh province, Mr. Do Van Chien said that after the merger, the locality has expanded its development space, becoming the province with a large economic scale, ranking 5th in the country. Bac Ninh is also the province with the most industrial parks in the North. The province has sufficient basis and conditions to strive to become a centrally-governed city in a civilized and modern direction.
"The Party's will blends with the people's heart, we believe we will achieve this goal," said Mr. Do Van Chien.
6 key tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province
Mr. Do Van Chien assessed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province has closely followed its functions and tasks in recent times, striving to achieve many important and comprehensive results.
Agreeing with the direction and goals for the 2025-2030 period presented to the Congress, Mr. Do Van Chien suggested that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, in the new term, thoroughly grasp the instructions of General Secretary To Lam at the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Central Organizations, term 2025 - 2030.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien hopes that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province will perform well the following 6 tasks:
1. Continue to thoroughly grasp the content of Resolution 43 dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the spirit of great national unity, building an increasingly prosperous and happy country.
Deeply grasp the Party's viewpoint that the people are the root, the people are the center, subject, goal and driving force of Doi Moi.
widely unite workers, farmers, youth, intellectuals, women, veterans, former People's Public Security officers, businessmen, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, Bac Ninh people living outside the province, living abroad to contribute their intelligence and efforts, to build Bac Ninh province rich, beautiful, civilized, modern, rich in identity, striving to turn Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030. By 2045, it will be a green, civilized, and modern city.
2. Strengthen historical education, foster pride, rising spirit, patriotism, and solidarity among all classes of people in Bac Ninh province. 5. Actively innovate the content and methods of operation of the Front, focus on training, fostering and practicing the team of cadres with courage, professional expertise, close to the people, proactively serving the people, especially the team of commune-level cadres.
Effectively implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
Extensively applying digital technology in all activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially in grasping the aspirations of the people, conveying the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies to the people. Through digital technology, it refutes bad and toxic information from hostile forces.
6. Participating in organizing the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, according to the functions and tasks of the Front as prescribed by law.
